In order to mount a remote FTP as folder locally you can use curlftpfs (which can be installed with sudo apt-get install -y curlftpfs). This can be useful for easily working on files over FTP or for easily copying files and directories recursively.
Once the installation is done, mounting the folder is as easy as running the following command:
sudo curlftpfs ftp.host.tld /local/path -o user=user:password,allow_other
Note: remember to replace ftp.host.tld with your FTP domain and user and password with the login information for your server.
